By creating an account or using the Wine Cellar application ("App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides a personal wine inventory and tracking system that allows users to:

• Record and manage wine collections
• Scan wine labels and retrieve AI-generated data
• Track purchases, consumption, and notes
• Receive recommendations, drink windows, and estimated pricing

Certain versions of the App are provided in partnership with wine retailers and may include retailer-specific features.

3. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to use the App.

4. User Data and Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter, including:

• Wine inventory
• Notes and ratings
• Purchase and consumption history

By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data solely to operate the service.

5. Privacy and Data Sharing

Your data is private by default.

If you use a retailer-branded version of the App:

• You may choose what data (if any) is shared with that retailer
• Sharing levels may include: no sharing, wines purchased from that retailer only, or full cellar visibility

You may change or revoke sharing permissions at any time from your account settings.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App uses artificial intelligence to provide:

• Wine identification
• Descriptions and tasting notes
• Drink windows
• Estimated prices and critic scores

These are estimates only and may be inaccurate. You agree not to rely on them as professional, financial, or purchasing advice.

7. Purchases and External Links

The App may include links to third-party services (e.g., wine retailers, pricing tools). We are not responsible for:

• Pricing accuracy
• Product availability
• Transactions made outside the App

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the system
• Upload harmful or malicious content

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the App settings.

10. Data Deletion

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile
• All cellar data
• Associated history

This action cannot be undone.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and content (excluding your personal data) are owned by Wine Cellar and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

• Data loss
• Inaccurate AI results
• Financial or purchasing decisions made using the App

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
